BlackStone eIT is a leading provider of innovative software solutions, dedicated to driving success for businesses through technology. We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for a 6-month contract to join our talented team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java development to design, implement, and maintain high-quality applications, while collaborating closely with various stakeholders.

- Design, develop, and deploy reliable and efficient Java applications within the project timeframe
- Work closely with product managers and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet client expectations
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that coding practices adhere to best practices and standards
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues
- Write unit tests and participate in the integration and deployment processes
- Stay current on new technologies and development methodologies
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and JPA
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and OOP concepts
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, contract environment
