Senior Software Engineer - iOS

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing native iOS applications.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience as an iOS Developer with a solid understanding of common programming architectures such as MVVM, MVP, and VIPER.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain existing iOS applications, including bug fixing and performance improvements.
• Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements.
• Debug memory leaks using Xcode and Instruments tools.
• Work in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment. We value innovation and pushing the boundaries of technology.
• Ensure quality standards and compliance within the team and promote adherence to industry best practices.
• Experience working on projects from scratch, including planning, architecture, and deployment.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with expert-level skills in SwiftUI.
• Experience with unit testing and familiarity with iOS testing frameworks.
• Previous work on features like chat, audio/video calling, or live video streaming.
• Proven experience in scaling applications/services to support millions of users.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and the ability to select the most appropriate ones based on product needs.
• Experience with REST APIs (JSON, XML) and integration.
• Proficient with iOS databases such as SQLite and Core Data.
• Knowledge of WebRTC and XMPP frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with version control and CI tools such as Git and Fastlane.
