Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Application Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of application projects and enhancements. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, project management expertise and stakeholder management skills. You will oversee projects from initiation through to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals, budget adherence and compliance with internal standards including IT security and SDLC frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver application projects and enhancements within scope, schedule and budget.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, vendors and software architects to drive project success.
• Manage risks, resolve complex issues and proactively prevent escalations.
• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support multiple application systems ensuring operational continuity.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and propose alternatives to improve system quality and performance.
• Oversee change requests, system upgrades and compliance with IT governance standards.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, ownership and a proactive approach in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience with a solid understanding of business processes.
• Proven expertise in managing the full application development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience or strong understanding of technologies such as React, Microsoft .NET (C#), Java, SQL and Docker.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP or PMI-ACP are advantageous.
