Power Platform Sr Engineer - EY Global Delivery Services

Position Overview: As a Senior Engineer in Microsoft Power Platform and Power Applications within information security, you will design, develop, and implement secure solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to meet security requirements, create scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality applications that adhere to security standards.

You will also help design responsive interfaces across various screen sizes, contributing visual comps, prototypes, and final designs to consulting projects under the guidance of senior experienced design professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of secure solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents) with an emphasis on information security.
  • Collaborate with security teams and stakeholders to gather and translate security requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop custom applications, workflows, and automation processes to enhance security operations and incident response times.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft Power Platform advancements and recommend improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful, security-focused project delivery.
  • Maintain documentation, including secure designs, technical specs, and user guides.
  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of responsive design, from content-first to high fidelity prototypes.
  • Work in Agile environments, clarifying business requirements with product owners and analysts, build storyboards for conceptualizing designs and conveying project plans.
  • Craft superior UX engagements through human-centered design best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing and developing secure solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents).
  • Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex, secure business solutions using the Power Platform with a focus on security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively about security challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-600) and security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
