Senior Software Engineer - Dublin (Hybrid)

I'm working with a Dublin-based tech start-up who are scaling quickly and building AI-powered platforms used by global household names. They're taking on some really interesting engineering challenges - combining modern stacks with AI/LLM capabilities to create smarter, more scalable systems.

The Role
This isn't a role where you'll be sitting in the corner writing tickets - you'll be involved from day one in shaping how products are designed, built, and delivered. You'll get the chance to influence technical decisions, mentor others, and have real ownership over the systems you work on.

What You'll Work On

• Designing and delivering software that can handle scale and complexity

• Writing reliable, clean, and well-tested code

• Driving new features from concept through to launch

• Collaborating closely with other engineers, product, and design

• Exploring ways to integrate AI and automation into live systems

• Playing a key role in a growing engineering culture

What You Bring

• Strong software engineering experience (ideally 5+ years)

• A solid grasp of computer science principles (algorithms, data structures, problem-solving)

• Background with modern technologies - e.g. JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, OpenAI (cloud exposure like AWS/GCP is a bonus)

• Comfort working across the stack and picking up new tools quickly

• Any experience with AI/LLMs or large-scale projects is a real plus
