Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Network Data Routing & Switching Engineer to design, implement, and manage end-to-end network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and Data Center environments. This role requires a deep technical foundation, strategic problem-solving, and collaborative engagement with cross-functional product teams.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.

🔹 Analyze and apply existing AZ network standards; develop updates for new solutions.

🔹 Design, deploy, and support enterprise-grade LAN, WAN, and Data Center network architectures.

🔹 Collaborate with other technology teams to optimize platform integration.

🔹 Ensure adherence to enterprise governance and deliverables review protocols.

🔹 Follow ITSM and CMDB operational processes for full lifecycle management.

🔹 Update key documentation including Reference Architecture, HLD, and LLD for network solutions.

🔹 Build monitoring and automation frameworks across all network environments.

🔹 Troubleshoot and respond to network incidents with agility and accuracy.

🔹 Stay current on industry trends and apply leading practices to network enhancements.

🔹 Maintain compliance with security standards and contribute to audit readiness.

Required Experience & Skills

✅ 12+ years of hands-on experience in network routing and switching

✅ Strong proficiency in BGP, OSPF, and IPVPN WAN technologies

✅ Advanced expertise in LAN technologies including STP, VLAN, and Dot1Q

✅ Experience designing network infrastructure for Flexpod, Metro Cluster, or HCI-based vSAN

✅ Skilled in VXLAN or equivalent overlay networking solutions

✅ Demonstrated success in cross-platform network integration and troubleshooting

✅ Exceptional documentation skills and familiarity with RA, HLD, LLD templates

✅ Ability to communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders

✅ Industry certifications: CCIE/CCNP or equivalent in Routing & Switching / Data Center networking ✅ Cisco SD-WAN experience (preferred but not mandatory)
