Project Manager (Agile Scrum Master)

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS Cloud Migration: Act as the primary point of contact for an end-to-end AWS cloud migration, ensuring alignment with both business and technical requirements.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive migration plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure clear communication and successful migration execution.
• Technical Oversight: Work closely with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant migration processes.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to financial services regulations, encryption protocols, access controls, and other applicable compliance standards.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks through risk assessments and contingency planning.
• Communication: Provide ongoing updates and reporting to stakeholders at all levels, including project status and issue resolution.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 4 years focused on AWS cloud migration projects.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead large-scale cloud migration projects in the financial services sector, managing cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AWS tools and services, including IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
• Project Management: Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear project updates to executives.
• Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of banking regulations and their application in cloud environments.
• Budget Management: Experience managing project budgets, with the ability to forecast and mitigate financial risks.
