Group CTO

Position: Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Location: Dubai/Abu Dhabi (Global Leadership Role – Relocation Support Available)

We are conducting an exclusive search for a Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technology strategy and execution for one of the largest and fastest-growing global digital asset trading platforms, with multi-billion-dollar daily trading volumes and a rapidly expanding global footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Technology Leadership: Define and execute the long-term technology vision, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience across all systems and platforms.
  
  
• Global Team Management: Lead, inspire, and develop a global engineering workforce of 700+ professionals, creating a high-performance culture of innovation and delivery excellence.
  
  
• Technical Transformation: Oversee architecture modernization, platform stability, and infrastructure enhancements to support high-frequency trading and next-generation digital asset products.
  
  
• Innovation and R&D: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, AI/ML, and cutting-edge tools to maintain a competitive edge in the global market.
  
  
• Operational Excellence: Ensure platform availability, reliability, and security to meet the demands of millions of users and institutional clients worldwide.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Data, Security, and Business leadership teams to align technology strategies with commercial goals.
  
  
• Risk and Compliance: Implement industry best practices for cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory compliance in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Group CTO, SVP of Engineering, or similar executive role within large-scale fintech, trading, or high-frequency transaction environments.
  
  
• Direct leadership experience managing global tech organizations of 700+ engineers, across multiple regions and disciplines.
  
  
• Expertise in large-scale distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and high-availability trading platforms.
  
  
• Strong background in scaling engineering functions, building resilient systems, and solving complex technical and organizational challenges.
  
  
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of transforming technology teams in high-growth, high-pressure environments.
  
  
• Deep understanding of security, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks impacting financial technology platforms.
  
  
• Exposure to digital assets, blockchain, or financial markets is highly desirable.
