Data Scientist

We are supporting a leading Singapore based organisation in their search for a Data Scientist to join their Analytics team. In this role, you will get the opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of AI and machine learning use cases. You will also take ownership of end-to-end model development.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and business functions, applying your expertise in machine learning, data storytelling, and AWS technologies to build scalable and impactful AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist, your key responsibilities will include identifying and framing AI/ML opportunities, developing and deploying models on AWS. You will partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex business problems into actionable insights, and communicate results through compelling narratives and visualizations. You will also play an active role in continuously enhancing deployed models, ensuring their accuracy, relevance, and business impact over time.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have 3 to 5 years of experience in data science or applied machine learning, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade models. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) is essential, as is experience working with AWS cloud services such as SageMaker, Lambda, and Step Functions. Strong analytical thinking, a product mindset, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences are key. Familiarity with MLOps, real-time data processing, and data visualization tools will be an advantage.
