Senior AQA Engineer with Appium

We are looking for a meticulous and highly proficient Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium to become part of our team.

The right candidate will have a proven background in designing and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts tailored for mobile applications. This position requires working closely with developers, product teams, and QA professionals to deliver exceptional mobile applications through advanced test automation.

Responsibilities


  • Create and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts tailored for mobile applications
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA professionals to achieve top-tier app quality
  • Execute automated test scripts and interpret results to identify and document issues
  • Report defects, monitor their lifecycle, and collaborate with developers for effective resolution
  • Enhance test automation workflows and integration with new tools or methodologies
  • Contribute to Agile or Scrum team ceremonies and support sprint deliverables
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for feature updates and regression scenarios


Requirements


  • Residency within Ukraine (remote positions available exclusively for candidates in Ukraine)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript-based test automation tools, including Appium, for mobile UI testing
  • Background in QA Automation for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms
  • Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies in a QA development context
  • Competency in diagnosing technical problems with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional team collaboration
  • Skills in end-to-end testing techniques for mobile applications
  • Knowledge of mobile app performance testing tools
  • Familiarity with API testing solutions such as Postman or RestAssured
  • Background in building proprietary mobile testing frameworks or contributing to open-source platforms
  • Proficiency in English at level B2+
