What you’ll do

• Deliver a first-class technology platform to support investment decision making and quantitative research
• Produce high quality, testable software
• Build highly responsive UI components using React
• Be part of a business facing team with a high visibility and interactions with key stakeholders and end-users
• Refine the existing investment and research platform in response to business needs
• Coach and develop more junior team members, ensuring that best practices and methodologies are followed

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Strong hands-on React engineering experience using TypeScript in an enterprise environment
• Strong experience with common React packages, libraries and tools used for builds, state management, data visualisations, testing, code quality, linting etc.
• Proficient with REST, WebSocket and GraphQL APIs
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript​: primitives vs objects, scopes, closures, function binding etc
• .An understanding and knowledge of engineering best practices and design pattern

• sUX and design experience to prototype and communicate ideas with business stakeholders
• General understanding of Asset Management/Financial Services industry and working in a regulated environmen
