Software Developer (mid level) - Exchange trading platform

Location: London, onsite (4 days per week in the office)

Salary: £65-70k + bonus

Purpose: Design and develop their cutting edge warehousing solution for their trading platform

Tech: Java, Spring Boot, PHP/Laravel Azure, AI (OpenAI)

Immersum are supporting the growth of a niche exchange trading platform who are about to embark on a period of growth across the business. You will designing and building their world class trading platform within their sector. This is a fantastic time to join the business that are capitalising on the growth within their sector as well being able to get your hands on cutting edge tech whilst building incredible services for their consumers.

The Role:

You will work directly with cross functional teams in engineering, product and design collectively designing and building their world class trading platform. You will be working in a primarily back end capacity with Java and Spring boot creating new services and adding bleeding edge, fit for purpose tech to their stack. In addition to designing and building new services you will also be developing streaming technologies to manage communication flows across their systems, services and platforms.

Some commercial experience in PHP is nice to have but you're day to day will be mostly Java Spring Boot development.

Tech:

• Backend services - Java SpringBoot
• Frontend services - PHP / Laravel
• Cloud - Azure (any cloud experience is good!)
• Databases - SQL
• Streaming - NATS or similar Azure event hubs, Kafka, Kinesis (any experience nice to have)
• AI - OpenAI APIs
