About The Role

As a Backend MEGS/AI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing advanced media engineering and AI solutions for our enterprise clients. This position requires expertise in video processing, chunking media data, and leveraging AI to analyze content—all while building scalable, production-ready backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend systems for processing and storing media data
• Develop and optimize workflows for video chunking and AI-based analysis using Nvidia VSS and Python
• Collaborate with AI, DevOps, and product teams to deploy, monitor, and scale services using Kubernetes
• Integrate video processing tools, such as FFmpeg, into automated pipelines
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across cloud environments
• Write clear, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and at least one strong backend language (C, Java, or Golang)
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in media processing and AI pipelines

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in backend engineering or similar roles
• Deep experience with Python and backend development
• Advanced familiarity with Nvidia VSS
• Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration and cloud-native architectures
• Practical knowledge of video processing tools (e.g., FFmpeg)
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language: C, Java, or Golang
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving, collaborative, and analytical skills
