Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Java/SpringAngular)

We are seeking an Senior Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot/Angular).

- Start date: October 2025 (or earlier)

- Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)

- Workload: 100%

- Location: Zurich (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on Software development on multiple software projects sharing technical stack and design (Java/Spring Boot/Angular)
• Taking part in design and planning sessions, collaborating with team members to achieve goals

Required Skills

• Very good Java development skills, ideally at least 10 years of relevant experience with Java professional development.
• Very good object-oriented design skills
• Very good understanding and prior experience with Spring Framework, ideally Spring Boot.
• Experience and good understanding of relational databases, eg. Postgres. Experience with JPA/Hibernate, transaction handling, etc.
• Proficiency with automated unit and integration testing, familiarity with tools like junit, mockito, assertj, etc.
• Experience with modern software development techniques, CI/CD pipelines, docker
• Good understanding of web applications, REST APIs, HTTP protocol, etc.
• Experience with Cloud deployments (public/private), ideally Microsoft Azure
• Fluency with git and maven
• Good understanding of core computing concepts (OS, networking), familiarity with Linux
• Experience with messaging/asynchronous communication

Desired Skills

• Knowledge and experience with Angular framework
• Fluency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other core web technologies
• Experience with end to end UI testing, eg. Cypress
• Experience with python
