Project Manager

My client is a forward-thinking software and data solutions company that specialises in delivering end-to-end applications. They work with a wide range of clients across various industries, helping them transform and digitise their business processes with robust, scalable solutions.

They are currently seeking a Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about managing multiple, diverse projects simultaneously. This is an opportunity to work closely with a talented technical team and directly with clients to bring impactful solutions to life.

They are a small focused team - due to this, it would be great if the PM has experience demonstrating versatility across roles and adapting to diverse project needs when needed.

The company operate in a Microsoft .Net environment, they are not necessarily looking for someone with a deep technical background, but they do want someone who is curious, ambitious, and eager to develop a strong understanding of the products and technologies they use and to take full ownership.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects from initiation to delivery. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple end-to-end software and data solution projects concurrently.
• Act as a key liaison between clients and internal technical teams.
• Run and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
• Own project budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Guide clients through their own internal project and delivery challenges.
• Help shape product delivery by understanding technical concepts and translating client requirements into actionable tasks.
• Produce mock-ups, workflows, and documentation where necessary.
• Manage product and sprint backlogs and ensure clear prioritization.
• Proactively flag risks and manage mitigation plans.
• Push back when needed and maintain professional boundaries while building strong client relationships.
• Take initiative, demonstrate ownership, and show ambition to grow with the role.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing multiple projects at once
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and Scrum methodology.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills — both verbal and written.
• Ability to understand and analyse systems and translate technical details into business language (and vice versa).
• Budget management experience, including forecasting and tracking.
• Experience in backlog management and team coordination.
• Confident, assertive, and able to challenge when needed in a constructive way.
• Passionate about learning new technologies and willing to dive into product and platform details.

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Facilitated Scrum ceremonies
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, etc.).
• Background in business analysis, product ownership, or UX/UI mock-up creation
