Team: Kontek Lön

Kontek Lön offers a robust Payroll system for the Swedish market with customers ranging from 50-2500 employees. Kontek has grown to become one of Sweden's leading specialist companies within payroll administration, and we provide an array of flexible solutions that can be tailored to each customer's particular needs and requirements.

Technology stack: Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu), GlassFish 7, Prometheus, Grafana, Python script, PostgreSQL 15, IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Github, Maven, Bash scripting, Python, Docker

Key Responsibilities

Incident Reporting: Logging and analyzing incidents to prevent reoccurrence through root cause analysis.
Deployment Management: Planning, scheduling, and executing software deployments in coordination with the development team.
Production Issue Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving production incidents by checking logs, analyzing source code, and inspecting database queries.
System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring system health and performance metrics to ensure stability and high availability.
Customer Support Coordination: Collaborating with Kontek’s support team to address client-reported issues.
Change Management: Documenting and managing changes to the system or configurations.
Environment Configuration: Setting up and maintaining development, testing, staging, and production.

Job Requirements

3-10 + years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps and keeping pace with technical innovations, including:

Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
Proficiency with databases, with a preference for PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in programming languages (Java or similar) and debugging.
Fluent in English (B2 + level) - job duties include cooperation with people from other countries

An Advantage

Experience working with Ubuntu OS.
Shell scripting (Bash, Python).
Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker). (For the future architecture upgrade, i.e. tech road map).
Configuration and management of application servers like GlassFish7.
Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Gitlab and Jenkins.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Higher education in IT or similar.

Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess a positive attitude, good time management, and self-motivation.
