We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer for developing an AI OS Platform, to expand one of our teams in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of core user interface features for an AI-focused operating system, including internal tools, workflow editors, and developer-centric dashboards.
• Build and maintain a robust, scalable frontend architecture designed for high performance and long-term adaptability.
• Engineer complex UI functionality supporting session management, real-time multi-user synchronization, and local interactions with models (leveraging WebLLM, WebGPU, and IndexedDB).
• Develop reusable and accessible UI components using modern frameworks such as Tailwind, Framer Motion, and shadcn/ui.
• Design and implement dynamic visual representations of data, including charts and model analysis interfaces.
• Manage intricate frontend logic related to routing, application state, and user flows, utilizing libraries like Zustand, Redux, or other modern solutions.
• Take full ownership of the frontend layer while working cross-functionally with UX, backend, infrastructure, and AI teams to align the UI with real-world ML workflows.
• Continuously enhance the developer-facing experience with an emphasis on clarity, usability, and modular extensibility.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years developing and maintaining frontend applications in a production environment using TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in React, especially with hooks, functional components, and state management solutions like Zustand or Redux.
• You value type safety and feel uneasy working with untyped variables.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, application state organization, and the design of modular, reusable components.
• Comfortable working with advanced browser capabilities such as IndexedDB, in-browser model execution, or real-time data interfaces.
• Expertise in modern UI tooling including Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui components, and Framer Motion for animated, design-driven development (experience with equivalent tools also considered).
• Hands-on experience integrating APIs via REST, GraphQL, or WebSockets, including full-stack concerns like session persistence, navigation, and error handling.
• Familiarity with MLOps platforms, dashboard interfaces, or projects involving large-scale data visualization is advantageous.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience navigating large-scale codebases and contributing to frontend architecture decisions with a long-term view.
• Additional plus: background in building interfaces for agent-based or autonomous AI systems.
