Senior Network Engineer

We're looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and implement improvements to optimize speed and reliability.
• Perform regular network audits, firmware upgrades, and patch management.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with network security policies.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for network and voice-related issues.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Assist in the design and deployment of new network infrastructure projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet, and Huawei networking platforms.
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, VoIP certifications) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS), VoIP technologies (e.g., Cisco Call Manager, Avaya, Asterisk), and Cisco Switching.
• Knowledge of firewall management and VPN technologies.
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Manage and support VoIP systems including call routing, SIP configurations, and voice quality monitoring.
