DevOps Engineer
$50 per hour

3-6 months
DevOps Engineer required to work IT, SDI, and AI/ML teams to enhance infrastructure automation and build efficient CI/CD pipelines using a combination of industry-standard tools and custom solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage on-premises product systems through automation
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate manual software processes to improve team productivity
- Configure and administer databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server
- Troubleshoot complex systems across different platforms and domains
- Develop infrastructure-as-code and related policies/standards
- Handle server configurations, deployments, and database performance issues
- Implement system backup, recovery, and optimization strategies
- Report on infrastructure KPIs and overall performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support scalable digital operations
Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Skilled in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or PowerShell
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, or AWS equivalents)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment an added bonus
