Network Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and manage passwords while implementing new security protocols on Palo Alto firewalls (Pan-OS).
• Assist in evaluating and executing potential firewall operating system upgrades.
• Maintain and regularly update service routes, interface profiles, and access lists to ensure optimal functionality.
• Handle certificate validation and renewals, including self-signed certificates.
• Collaborate closely with the onsite team to provide support for daily IT operations and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Contribute to standardization efforts in credentials and system management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in IT help desk support or technical support roles.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and Pan-OS is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, access control systems, and firewall configurations.
• Experience in certificate administration and adherence to standard IT security best practices.
• Strong communication skills combined with effective troubleshooting abilities.
• Must be available for onsite work in San Diego, CA.
