Location: Hybrid (UK-based, minimal office visits)

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Salary: Up to £80,000, depending on experience

Join a fast-growing & award winning technology company who are investing heavily in their tech teams and looking for a skilled Engineering Team Lead with a focus on Golang (Go) to drive innovation and mentor developers in a collaborative, modern development environment.

The Role:

As a Tech Lead (Go), you’ll take ownership of technical direction and standards, work closely with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in shaping our modern Go-based platforms. You’ll also mentor engineers and champion engineering best practices.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and coach a team of developers, supporting skill growth and collaboration
• Own architectural decisions, code quality, and scalability of systems
• Drive technical discussions and continuous improvement across the team
• Review code, set coding standards, and maintain high-quality delivery
• Collaborate with Product and Design to align engineering with business objectives
• Stay up to date with emerging tech and implement best-fit solutions

You’ll Need:

• Proven experience building applications in Golang
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services
• Solid background in designing scalable, modular systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
