About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer with an AI focus to join our client's team in the technology sector. In this role, you will contribute to building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures that support AI and machine learning initiatives, ensuring data is accessible, clean, and ready for advanced analytics and AI model training.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and optimize data architectures to support AI/ML workflows.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to understand data requirements and ensure data availability.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance practices.
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage data infrastructure.
• Integrate data from various sources including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of AI models in production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with machine learning workflows and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow).
• Experience with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
