Art Lead

(VR Game, Remote, Full-Time, EET ±2h)

We’re looking for an experienced Art Lead to drive the visual direction of our next gen VR racing game. You’ll be building and leading a distributed art team, fully owning the art pipeline from concepts to final assets — environments, vehicles, and beyond.

We’re aiming for a high-fidelity realistic art style with a sports festival vibe featuring detailed real licensed cars and real modern urban environments in 3D. Made with Unity, with performance being a factor.

What you’ll do:

• Take creative ownership of the project’s visual style and evolution.
• Plan, lead, and grow an art team (including hiring & onboarding).
• Organize task distribution, ensure quality, and maintain deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, game designers, and developers.
• Drive process improvement and set up efficient production pipelines.
• Manage internal and outsource artists.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years in game development, including 3+ years as an Art Lead.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of product KPIs and art’s impact on business results.
• UX-savvy — familiar with user flows, game structure, and monetization principles.
• Remote team management experience.
• Proven track record working with or setting up outsourcing pipelines.

Working conditions:

• Remote full-time contract position.
• Independent contractor setup (B2B or service agreement).
• Time zone: EET ±2 hours.
