Sprintax, part of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software that provides a number of tax related services to non-residents in the United States. We help thousands of international visitors such as students, scholars, teachers, trainees, researchers, work and travel participants and other foreign individuals that are temporary in the United States each year with the preparation of their tax returns.
Sprintax is seeking a strategic Product Manager to own and scale our Dividends product, an ambitious growth opportunity in the fintech space. This role requires someone who can think strategically about market expansion while diving into the details of complex tax workflows and customer needs.
You'll be the voice of the Dividends product, working directly with tax experts, customers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact releases that drive business growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you'll work in a small team environment with significant autonomy and ownership.

What you will be doing:
Strategic Leadership
- Own the mission, vision, and strategy for the Dividends product in collaboration with stakeholders and CPO
- Build and maintain a compelling product roadmap with stakeholder buy-in across sales, engineering, and leadership
- Support market validation efforts by partnering with sales and marketing teams on customer discovery and providing product expertise to inform market research
- Ensure product readiness for go-to-market initiatives by collaborating with sales and marketing on launch strategies and providing technical and product guidance
- Establish clear requirements validation processes to prevent mid-development scope changes
- Implement stakeholder sign-off procedures that ensure commitment before development begins
- Take accountability for successful and predictable delivery of the product roadmap
- Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and handoff to engineering teams
- Track development capacity and support resource allocation decision-making
- Coordinate feature launches across sales, operations, customer success, marketing, and support teams
- Engage directly with customers to understand needs and validate product decisions
- Build competitive intelligence to inform product positioning and strategy
- Own pricing and packaging strategy in collaboration with sales and finance
- Establish feedback loops with customers, sales, and support teams to drive continuous product iteration
- Communicate progress and status with support from project management team
- Build consensus among stakeholders while escalating strategic decisions to management team
Must Have
- 3-5 years product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or fintech
- Proven track record of taking products from early stage to significant scale
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate at multiple levels (strategic and tactical)
- Strong consensus-building skills while being decisive when needed
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing requirements
- Detail-oriented with focus on execution and delivery
- Tax or financial services domain knowledge
- Customer-centric mindset with experience conducting user research
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on complex technical requirements
- Background in fast-paced, evolving technology environments
