Product Owner (A/B Testing & Tracking, App & Web Team)
We’re looking for a data-savvy and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead and scale our efforts in tracking implementation and A/B testing across web and mobile platforms. In this role, you’ll ensure that all digital products are measurable, experimentation-ready, and optimized for decision-making.
You’ll work at the intersection of product, analytics, and development, managing the event tracking ecosystem while driving our experimentation strategy—from ideation to execution and analysis.
What you’ll have to do:
- Own and prioritize the tracking and experimentation backlog across platforms (web, iOS, Android)
- Define and maintain tracking documentation and event taxonomies in collaboration with product managers, analysts, and developers
- Coordinate the implementation of analytics and attribution tools (e.g., GA4, Firebase, Appsflyer, Segment, GTM)
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and define A/B testing opportunities based on product goals, hypotheses, and data
- Set up and manage A/B tests end-to-end: test definition, variant creation, QA, launch, and result analysis
- Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous QA using tools like Charles Proxy, Firebase DebugView, or GA Debugger
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy regulations in all tracking and experimentation efforts
- Collaborate with data and marketing teams to make test results actionable and drive product improvement
- 2–4 years of experience in a Product Owner, Digital Analyst, or Technical Project Manager role
- Proven experience in tracking implementation and A/B testing in digital environments
- Deep understanding of tracking concepts: event-based analytics, data layers, user properties, funnels
- Experience with analytics and attribution tools: GA4, Firebase, Appsflyer, Segment, GTM
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools like Optimizely, VWO, Firebase Remote Config, Google Optimize, etc.
- Ability to write clear technical requirements and collaborate effectively with developers and analysts
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with high attention to detail
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and balancing business goals with technical feasibility
- Experience designing and scaling experimentation frameworks (e.g., test calendars, success metrics, documentation)
- Ability to interpret and translate test results into product decisions and improvements
- Familiarity with server-side tracking or server-side test implementation
- Understanding of statistical significance and experiment validity
- Basic knowledge of SQL or experience collaborating with data teams for test analysis
- Passion for building data-informed products and a culture of continuous experimentation
