About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a Software Developer to join our small and high performing cross-functional team, working with Session Management Function (SMF). The team is operating from our lively office at Lindholmen in Göteborg, with a stunning view of the Göta Älv river, where we blend technical expertise with a dedication to improve the world. Our facilities serve as an innovation hub, hosting tech days, hackathons and other events that foster creative approaches to address future challenges.

With our team you will get to work with cutting-edge technology and shape the future of telecom. We do research and development that includes AI, cloud and containerization as we advance 5G and look ahead to 6G. You’ll work in an agile environment, using methods and principles like Kanban and Scrum. We are focusing on early costumer and stakeholder feedback for our development process, which is based on Continuous Integration practices.

What you will do:

With us you will accelerate your growth by solving complex challenges and broadening your skillset, alongside a fun and supporting team. You will be involved in designing, implementing and testing the feature, product and system from requirements for production and commercial deployment. As a part of your role, you will also learn to develop knowledge in using CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Development) flow and philosophy.

The skills you bring:

As you will be working with a multi-functional, self-organizing and highly independent team you need to be a curious person with the drive to research and learn new technologies to stay up to date with the latest trends. You have a passion for continuing to develop your knowledge and are proactive and always ready to seek out information, bring your ideas to the table and collaborate with Product Owners and others.

We will be looking for these qualifications:

• BSc/ MSc level in Computer Science with communication, network and telecom focus.
• 0 - 3 years of related experience in SW development and architecture (we welcome university graduates who want to start their professional careers).
• Exposure to object-oriented programming.
• Open mindset, asking for help, sharing knowledge and a team-first approach.
• Curiosity to understand customer needs and how to address them.
• Interest in understanding the whole product and its environment.
• Effortless communication in English, written and spoken.
  
  

Here are some technologies we use, and we value candidates who are eager to learn: C++ 20, Python, Gerrit / Git, Telecom (Packet Core), Kubernetes, TDD, Codeium, Scrum.
