Swedium Global is looking for a senior DevOps Engineer for one of its customer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, helping us scale, secure, and streamline our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across modern cloud-native platforms. You will work closely with developers, cloud architects, and QA teams to enable faster, safer, and more reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar tools
- Manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes / OpenShift / EKS / AKS
- Ensure monitoring, logging, and alerting are in place using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
- Champion DevSecOps principles by integrating security into pipelines and cloud configurations
- Work with microservices architectures, service meshes, and container networking
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure or deployment issues
- Collaborate on cloud platform engineering (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern orchestration tools
- Proficiency in Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud provisioning
- CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Comfortable in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Go)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiar with Linux system administration, networking, and security hardening
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills
- Experience with OpenShift or RedHat ecosystems
- Knowledge of Istio, Linkerd, or other service meshes
- Familiar with policy-as-code tools (OPA/Gatekeeper)
- Experience in Fintech, Telecom, or high-compliance environments (ISO27001, GDPR, PCI)
- Certifications: CKA, AWS DevOps Pro, Azure DevOps Expert, or equivalent
