Backend Developer - Istanbul

Deloitte is a major player in the world of technology consulting, present in more than 150 countries, acknowledged for its strategic alliances with the largest technology vendors, and renowned for its expertise in innovation, transformation, technology implementation and technology operations.

Deloitte has decided to establish its new Technology Solutions Center (TSC) in Istanbul, Turkey.

As part of this initiative, in this initial phase, Deloitte is searching for professionals specialized in Core Insurance or Core Banking who will serve clients worldwide, with a particular emphasis on Europe.

We are looking for professionals with knowledge / experience of implementing Core Systems (parametrization of products, integration/ integrating other systems) from Industry Solutions vendors (Guidewire, Sapiens, TIA, Mambu, SAP Core Banking) and considering a diverse and multidisciplinary technological context.

Your day-to-day:

• Integrate and actively participate in technology consulting projects, with the possibility of coordinating and operationally supervising teams depending on your experience;
• Participate in transformation projects to create solutions aligned with the needs of our national and international clients;
• Be involved in various phases of a technology project, such as software design, development, implementation, and testing;
• Plan, execute, and/or autonomously coordinate activities related to the preparation of various outputs within the scope of a project or project stream.
  
  
  

What we are looking for:

• More than 1 year of experience;
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (remote/on-site, based in Istanbul);
• IT background and experience as IT analyst or developer;
• Insurance or Banking industry knowledge;
• Experience in Core Insurance or Core Banking implementation and/or maintenance projects;
• Experience with one or more of the following Industry Solutions: Guidewire, Sapiens, TIA, Mambu, SAP Core Banking (e.g. TRBK).
• ⁠ Technical knowledge/ experience with process design, API development and technologies such as: Java; .Net; API development (REST, Springboot, Node.js); Databases (Oracle PL/SQL; SQLServer; MySQL; PostgreSQL; MongoDB), ABAP.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or other related engineering fields;
• English language proficiency;
• Knowledge/ fluency in German language would be a plus;
