Project Description

We are looking for a passionate Senior Android Engineer willing to participate in development of the product for a leading US-based freight analytics and transportation management company. Here, you’ll be able to participate in the modernisation of technical infrastructure, helping our client match ‘loads’ to be delivered with available carriers, topping at $150B worth of transactions annually. You will work alongside Zoolatech’s best engineers, embracing the technology-agnostic approach. Responsibilities

• You will be part of an agile cross-functional team that builds solutions for freight analytics and transportation management company (Androi, iOS, React Native) as well as the website.
• Together with the team you will build solutions for end users.
• Communicate with various stakeholders to understand the business context, and translate the requirements into technical designs.
• Act like an owner by taking up a challenge, work towards reducing ambiguity, and break the work down into manageable tasks for the team.
• Lean on your Android experience and skill set, develop robust, performant and maintainable code.
• Share and develop your expertise with your team to deliver the best user experience to our customers.

Skills Required

• You are a passionate Android Engineer who is eager to work with new technologies while trying to challenge yourself and deliver clean, easily maintainable and testable code.
• You have 4+ years of experience working in high performing Teams and can independently drive end-to-end delivery, facilitating technical discussions and complex decision making.
• You have a deep understanding of the Android SDK, industry standard design patterns for Android Apps.
• You have a good understanding of how to work with REST services and APIs. Familiarity with GraphQL is a bonus.
• You are knowledgeable about engineering practices that lead to writing well-tested high quality code.
• Desire to learn React Native and develop hybrid Narive+React Native application.
• React native knowledge would be a great bonus.
