Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python AI Engineer with strong experience in generative AI, algorithm design, and production-grade software development. This role focuses on building intelligent, scalable, and maintainable systems for unstructured data intake, leveraging AI/ML and cloud-based services. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and cloud architects to develop robust AI-driven solutions that are testable, observable, and ready for real-world deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for processing and understanding unstructured data (e.g., text, audio, documents).
• Implement clean, scalable, and efficient Python code following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Work on integrating Generative AI models into intelligent pipelines (e.g., summarization, classification, Q&A).
• Design, optimize, and evaluate algorithms tailored for unstructured data handling.
• Ensure high observability, logging, and monitoring standards across deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of AI services with backend systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Evaluate and incorporate cloud-native AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure Cognitive Services, Google Vertex AI).

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python with a deep understanding of object-oriented and functional design patterns.
• Proven experience with Generative AI / LLMs and related libraries (e.g., Lang Chain, Transformers, OpenAI API).
• Solid foundation in algorithm design and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with TDD, unit testing, and code quality best practices.
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, and version control (Git).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with unstructured data domains such as NLP, OCR, or speech.
• Familiarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures.
• Understanding of vector databases and embedding techniques.
