Developer

Akkodis is currently searching for a Senior Developer for our Crown Corporation client within the Ottawa, Toronto, Halifax, and Montreal area.

Job Description:

• Author technical specification documents and diagrams for client’s platforms and custom developed applications.
• Participates in system architecture and design and technical decisions (technologies, frameworks and tools selection).
• Completes application development projects according to SDLC best practices.
• Conducts code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and design best practices and help resolve technical issues.
• Ensures that documentation is created and maintained for architecture, design, development and deployment processes.
• Collaborates with various stakeholders (product owners, scrum masters, other technical teams, etc.) to ensure technical aspects align with business goals.

Experience Required:

• Strong experience (5+ years as a front-end developer in the following tech stack: .Net (C#), ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, Azure Function App, Kubernetes, and Microservices.
• Experience developing in a Microsoft Azure/Cloud environment.
• Experience with an API Development Environment.
• Demonstrated experience in software delivery lifecycle and in software development at scale best practices.
• Experience with agile practices, techniques, tools, and standard practices.

Additional Requirements:

• Ideal candidate must possess an active Level 1 - Reliability Security Clearance with the Government of Canada, or be eligible for Reliability Clearance (5+ years in Canada).
• Bilingual is an asset.
• Azure Certification is an asset.
