What you'll do

As a DevOps Engineer Consultant at Futurwork, you will drive deployment and automation for our clients, integrating tools and optimizing infrastructure. You'll work on automating deployments with Jenkins and TerraForm for Middleware, Database, and Web products. Additionally, you'll support continuous integration, delivery, and testing processes. Your work will directly contribute to building a cohesive ecosystem for our consultants, partners, and clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Deployment Automation: Utilize Jenkins and TerraForm to automate deployments across Middleware, database, and web platforms
  • Build and Deployment Automation: Configure and manage deployment pipelines with tools such as Ansible and TerraForm
  • Continuous Integration and Delivery: Support and implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GIT, and SVN
  • Cloud Enablement: Assist in transitioning clients to the cloud, leveraging tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and IBM Cloud
  • Infrastructure Management: Provide technical support for infrastructure components, including Linux, containers, and cloud solutions
  • Release Orchestration: Manage release pipelines, runbooks, and workflow processes to streamline application packaging and deployment
  • Tooling for Development and Testing: Enable collaboration tools that support development, testing, and quality assurance

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux, Shell scripting, and Python programming
  • Expertise in Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, Helmchart, TerraForm, Ansible, Docker, and Node.js
  • Knowledge of architecture standards and experience with Middleware, cloud, and containers
  • Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and Version Control tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, SVN, GIT

Desired business skills

  • Practical experience with project methodologies, including Scrum
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adhere to project standards
