Senior Engineer (Ansible)

Responsibilities:

• Develop & deploy Ansible playbooks and modules (Network, Firewall, Load balancer, DNS, Compliance check etc.).
• Administer Ansible Platform/infrastructure, perform maintenance, configuration change management and provide subject matter expert level support.
• Driving process improvements and design enhancements to automation to continuously improve the SIT/DEV/Production environment.
• Influencing other teams in adopting automation and configuration management best practices.
• Training other team members and other teams on Ansible Automation.
• Project implementation including design & setup.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required in IT.
• At least 2+ years’ experience with automation tool in developing, creating and deploying Ansible frameworks and playbooks.
• At least 2 years of experience using Ansible for DevOps Development & supporting Ansible infrastructures.
• Strong experience with Ansible Playbook development and Ansible Tower deployment.
• At least 2 years of experience in Python, YAML scripting, containers, Kubernetes.
• At least 2+ years Windows and Linux vulnerability management.
• Experience using applications such as: Jira, GitHub, GitLab.
• Experience with "patching and vulnerability remediation" of Linux, Windows OS.
• Experience in Linux/ Windows/VMware technologies.
• Understanding of network fundamentals, APIs and HTTP protocol.
• Experience in Cisco Network Infrastructure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team oriented environment.
• A self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented individual.
