L2 Network Engineer

We are looking for a Level 2 Network Engineer to join our growing team on a B2B contract basis. This role is based in Singapore and follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site and remote work.

As an L2 Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, support, and maintenance of a wide range of network infrastructure systems across multiple technologies and manufacturers. You will also play a critical role in supporting our clients during migrations, new deployments, and issue resolutions within SLA.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, Addition, Change, Move (IACM):

• Perform technical site surveys and WiFi passive site surveys.
• Conduct site preparation, staging, and physical installation (rack/stack).
• Apply basic configurations for remote access.
• Provide Day 1 on-site support during migrations or installations.

Maintenance & Support:

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Offer on-call and on-standby support with SLA of 7x24x4.
• Troubleshoot and resolve low-complexity technical issues.
• Replace faulty equipment and perform RMA returns.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams when necessary.
• Install software updates and engineering changes as required.

Project Work:

• Contribute to team projects and client deployments as needed.

Technologies & Equipment

You will work with a variety of hardware and platforms including but not limited to:

• Network & Security: Cisco, Meraki, Huawei, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba
• Others: Microsoft, UPS, Firewalls, Wireless LAN, LAN Switches, Routers

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification: CCNA or equivalent Level 2 Network Certification
• Experience: 3–5 years in a similar role
• Skills:
• Strong internetworking and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to follow technical documentation and SOPs
• Basic command of English for communication and documentation
