Product Manager

Job Description

onsemi is seeking a program manager for the mature group within the SID division of AMS. This group is responsible for all foundry projects within onsemi and is also responsible for the legacy products within the SID division. In this role you will focus on the following:

Responsibilities

The program manager for the foundry and mature business will:

• Be responsible for the future and current development projects within the foundry and mature business group.
• Analyze, plan, refine and manage a project plan, in collaboration with the external customer and our internal organization.
• Work with the customers on their technical questions (CAD, IP, Modeling, Technology, Packaging, Reliability). A strong collaboration with our internal technology teams is required.
• Manage the life cycle of the projects from planning phase to production release.
• Track and report on program progress to stakeholders
• Responsibility to coordinate between all project stakeholders such as marketing, engineering teams, operations etc. from initial requirements definition through manufacturing ramp.
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field.
• At least 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry with prior experience in a program management role or other product development role (product engineering, test engineering, device engineering, etc.)
• Experience in industrial and/or automotive industry standards is a plus
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Team player, independent, responsible, capable of multi-tasking, ability to drive people and tasks, leadership qualities
