Kforce is seeking a highly experienced Senior Android Developer to join their mobile engineering team in Boston, MA. This role will focus on delivering diagnostic capabilities within our mobile app to support customer self-service. The Senior Android Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a high-impact project aimed at improving mobile diagnostics. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other Android developers based in Boston to design and implement robust mobile solutions
- Work closely with platform-side teams and external design partners to ensure seamless integration and user experience
- Implement customer-facing diagnostic features based on finalized specifications and design inputs
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and performance
- Participate in testing, debugging, and optimization of Android applications across various devices and OS versions
- Stay current with Android development trends and advocate for best practices within the team
- 5+ years of professional experience in Android development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with hands-on experience using Jetpack Compose
- Familiarity with REST or JRPC APIs for data retrieval
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, UI/UX standards, and mobile architecture patterns
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
