UX/UI Specialist - HTML / CSS / JavaScript

NTT DATA is currently looking for a UX/UI Specialist for a client in Brussels.

Your role:

  • You will work on projects related to the web and mobile application for online and customer self-service of our client. There are 46 different applications and a mobile
  • Digitalization of (self)-service and business models.
  • Willingness to work on both desktop and mobile projects, including mobile applications.
  • Able to work within within an iterative approach such as scrum.
  • Actively want to think along with the functional analysts and give feedback.
  • Ability to work within an imposed architecture and other guidelines.
  • Responsible for the development of the fencing concept for new (mobile) applications and mobile websites, and for functional changes to existing (mobile) applications and mobile websites.
  • The usability Specialist is part of the ICT project team.

Your profile:

  • Experience with design of web applications, mobile apps and mobile websites.
  • Relevant knowledge of usability, user experience and interaction design.
  • Graphically strong and expertise with good, user-friendly web applications and mobile apps.
  • Experience with design and development tools and prototyping software.
  • A very good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in using UX research and testing tools.
  • Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with analytical tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector can be a significant advantage, given the specific requirements and regulations within this sector.
  • You have experience with Health Management platforms or related experience.
  • You have experience with User Research: thorough knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Experience with user research such as interviews, focus groups, user tests, and surveys.
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills to obtain actionable insights from research data.
  • Information Architecture and Wireframing: Understanding of information architecture principles and the ability to create wireframes and mockups.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Skill in drafting clear and concise research reports.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Listening skills to accurately understand user needs and feedback.
  • Ability to empathize with end-users and understand their perspective.
  • Analytical thinking to identify and solve complex usage problems
  • Experience working on large projects with complex, multidisciplinary teams, including designers, developers, and product managers.
  • Ability to propose innovative solutions and ideas to improve the user experience.

Language skills:
You are fluent in English and Dutch. French is a plus.
