Senior Android Developer

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team. You’ll contribute to creating new features, collaborate directly with the customer, and actively engage in daily Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features within the mobile application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Work closely with product owners, designers, and QA in an Agile setting
• Support architectural decisions and uphold a clean, modular design across app components
• Conduct code reviews, execute refactoring, and ensure high code quality standards
• Apply MVVM or MVI architectural patterns, leveraging Jetpack libraries like Navigation, Room, and WorkManager
• Use dependency injection frameworks, including Dagger, Hilt, or Koin
• Write unit tests, UI tests, and integration tests to ensure coverage
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos
• Engage with customer stakeholders and collaborate with development peers
  
  
  

Requirements

• Residence in Ukraine (remote positions exclusively for candidates based there)
• Background in Android development with 3+ years of experience using Kotlin
• Proficiency with Android SDK and Jetpack Compose
• Strong knowledge of DI/SL frameworks such as Dagger, Hilt, or Koin
• Familiarity with Jetpack components like Navigation, Room, and WorkManager
• Understanding of app modularization strategies
• Competency in architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVI
• Experience with frameworks for unit, UI, and integration testing
• Excellent skills in code quality, refactoring, and code review
• B2+ level of English for effective written and spoken communication

• Familiarity with Firebase tools like Remote Config, Crashlytics, A/B Testing, Realtime DB, and Firestore
• Capability to work with CI/CD tools such as Bitrise or Jenkins
