Data Scientist

About the role

Join a dynamic AI Tribe in Brussels and help shape the future of banking through cutting-edge generative AI applications. We’re looking for a senior Data Scientist (min. 3 years of experience) passionate about building smart, impactful solutions that serve both customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy AI-powered tools like virtual assistants and automation systems
• Work across diverse GenAI and predictive AI use cases, from speech-to-text to image interpretation
• Leverage advanced methodologies like RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic apps
• Present results directly to top management in a clear and compelling way
• Collaborate in an Agile team where innovation and lean thinking are the norm

Technical Context

• Strong Python skills (mandatory)
• Hands-on with GenAI frameworks like LangChain, Haystack, etc. (preferred)
• Tools: Git, Domino
• Exposure to deep learning, fine-tuning of pre-trained models, and ML pipelines
• Experience with production deployment of AI applications

Profile

• 3+ years’ experience in Data Science / AI
• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Maths, Engineering, Statistics…)
• Fluent in English + Dutch OR French
• Strong business sense and communication skills
• Curious, autonomous, and team-oriented mindset
