Frontend Developer (SEO Implementation Focus)

TinyPixels, an innovative and rapidly growing iGaming technology company based in Hoorn, Netherlands, is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will focus primarily on developing and maintaining high-quality frontend features, ensuring clean, performant, and scalable code. Over time, as you become familiar with our products and tech stack, you will also play an important part in embedding SEO best practices directly into your work — ensuring that everything we build is fully optimised for search engine visibility, performance, and structure.

This is a great opportunity for a frontend developer who is interested in also handling SEO implementation, working closely with both our development and marketing teams.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and maintain frontend components and features (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript)
• Ensure clean, performant, and scalable code that adheres to modern frontend best practices
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality user interfaces
• Optimise site performance, mobile usability, and load times (Core Web Vitals awareness)
• Gradually take ownership of SEO implementation within the codebase, including structured data markup (JSON-LD), meta tags, canonical tags, hreflang attributes, and internal link structures
• Ensure the frontend output is crawl-friendly and accessible for search engines
• Contribute to improving technical site health as part of ongoing feature development
• Work in a dynamic, agile environment and collaborate cross-functionally
  
  

Who are you?

• 2+ years of experience in frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; PHP experience a plus)
• Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, performance optimisation, and responsive design
• Familiarity or interest in learning how SEO best practices integrate into frontend development
• Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and work collaboratively with non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and a focus on delivering maintainable, scalable code
• Bonus: knowledge of internationalisation, hreflang, and multilingual site configuration
  
  

Nice to have:

• Awareness of structured data implementation (JSON-LD)
• Experience optimising frontend output for Core Web Vitals
• Basic familiarity with SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Lighthouse, etc.)
