Customer Project Delivery Manager/Director

Currently, we are looking for a Customer Delivery Director to join our team in Finland.

Your main task in this role is to ensure the smooth delivery of cloud transformation projects and programs. In addition, depending on your background and ambitions, management of customer service delivery and growth. Working alongside our sales and technical professionals, this is a key role deployed for client engagements all over Europe.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Managing complex customer projects and programs (budget, scope, CSAT, schedule, staffing, etc.)
• Managing multicultural teams of professionals in projects (internal, customer, 3rd parties) and possibly as a line organization role as a people leader
• Stakeholder management on technical and senior management level (customers and internal stakeholders)
• Collaborating with the sales teams regarding new engagements and extensions to existing ones
• Facilitating feedback and demand towards Nordcloud's internal product owners
• Ensuring we follow planning, reporting, escalation, and lessons learned processes
  
  
  

Your key skills:

• Several years of professional experience in
• Project and Program Management
• Outsourcing and / or project business (in IT provider or customer role)
  
• Understanding of Cloud Operating models and patterns (experience in one of the hyperscalers: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Legal and Commercial competence to handle contracts & budgets
• Good comprehension of P&L and factors influencing the commercial success of a project
• Consulting skills, including high-end presentation skills and ability to facilitate workshops
• Team player with problem solving attitude, strong soft skills and people leadership skills
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Finnish
  
  

The successful candidate is expected to go through security clearance.

Skills we'd consider a plus:

• Cloud / data center migration experience, application development / modernization experience
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Project mgmt. certificate, cloud practitioner certificates, etc.)
• Experience from the public sector
