Project Manager Senior – Digitalización Industrial / HVAC / Energía

As a Project Manager in the OpenBlue Industrial Refrigeration & Heating (IR&H) team, you will lead cross-functional digital solution deployments for industrial clients across the Globe. From early planning to full rollout, you’ll orchestrate all project phases—ensuring successful, on-time, and on-budget execution.

You’ll work closely with internal engineering teams, local JCI branches, and customer stakeholders to align on scope, timelines, resource planning, and delivery milestones.

Your role is pivotal in transforming industrial plants through data connectivity, visualization, anomaly detection, and platform-enabled services.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership
  
  

Lead the execution of multiple concurrent OpenBlue IR&H deployments—from planning through go-live and stabilization.

• Customer & Stakeholder Management
  
  

Collaborate with customer teams, JCI branches, and internal engineering to ensure alignment on requirements, deliverables, and schedules.

• Planning & Execution
  
  

Develop detailed project plans, track progress against milestones, and proactively mitigate risks and bottlenecks.

• Governance & Reporting
  
  

Provide structured reporting on progress, issues, and KPIs to internal stakeholders and leadership. Ensure transparent and consistent communication throughout.

• Process Standardization & Scalability
  
  

Contribute to process improvements and documentation to enable scalable, repeatable project execution across regions.

• Post-Deployment Oversight
  
  

Ensure smooth handover to operations teams and support transition to business-as-usual for connected customer sites.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project management roles, ideally in industrial, energy, automation, or digital transformation programs.
• Project Methodologies: Proven track record in managing complex projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Reporting & Synthesis
  
  

Skilled at creating clear, concise reports and executive summaries. Capable of distilling complex technical or operational scenarios into structured insights for diverse audiences.

• Mindset: Self-starter, structured thinker, and problem-solver with a passion for innovation and digital transformation.
• Tools: Proficiency in project planning tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira. Familiarity with dashboards or cloud platforms is a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluent English is essential. Spanish is beneficial. Proficiency in any additional EU language (e.g., French, German, Italian) is a strong advantage.
• Industry Exposure: Exposure to industrial and engineering environments is a strong plus.
