Data Analyst

Your day to day:

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics [AIDA] organization drives the Analytics & Data Ocean Services transformation for Vodafone.

The purpose of this role is to support the translation of data into meaningful information that promote business performance and enable data driven decision-making, with a key areas of focus on: IT Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) validation of input from Local Markets, data analysis to support business cases or strategic decisions (insourcing, off shoring, transformation, merges & acquisitions) and benchmarking against Telco operators (internal and external).

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

• Validate Local Market input on TCO data to ensure submission meets all criteria and support the closure of outstanding anomalies;
• Support in updating all the TCO trackers in an accurate and efficient way;
• Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis on TCO data and respond to queries in accordance with the timeline agreed;
• Support the creation of insights from the existing data by analysing trends, distributions, anomalies etc. and highlight the findings to the relevant audience;
• Identify and propose areas of improvements, develop tracking and reporting tools on Excel or other reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI)
  
  
  

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Experience of 2+ years in a role that requires extensive data analysis and structure of big volumes of data;
• Proven ability to analyse sets of data and generate data insights and clear reports
• Good communications skills, able to build trustful relationship with stakeholders on various level in the organization;
• Confident to work with confidential information;
• Growth mind-set, adaptable, flexible, willing to develop and learn;
• University degree, preferred in computer science / statistics / economics / mathematics / statistics or equivalent;
• Excellent English skills (verbal and written);
• Very good knowledge of Excel and/or any other reporting and analysis tool
