On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for Crew Coordinator

Pnr: 22095

Job Description

  • Plan and coordinate crew changes in close cooperation with travel agents, port agents, and vessel managers
  • Maintain up-to-date records of crew certifications, contracts, and documentation in line with flag state and international regulations
  • Oversee crew planning and rotation in accordance with company procedures and operational needs
  • Support and implement HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, and performance follow-up
  • Collaborate with finance to handle payroll administration, allowances, and travel reimbursements
  • Prepare and monitor crew budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Ensure compliance with maritime laws, company standards, and safety requirements
  • Act as point of contact for seafarers, offering guidance and support throughout their employment

Qualifications

  • Relevant maritime or HR education; maritime background is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in crew coordination or similar roles
  • Solid understanding of flag state regulations, and seafarer certification
  • Experience with payroll systems and budgeting tools
  • Familiarity with crew management systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
