Job Summary:

Rectangle Health is a leading financial technology company that empowers healthcare practices with innovative solutions for payment processing and practice management. They are seeking a Software Developer to contribute to building healthcare payment solutions by writing, testing, and supporting code in a production environment, while collaborating with the product team to drive new features.

Responsibilities:

• Help drive the quality of our code by writing, testing and supporting the code that lives in our production environment.

• Partner with our product team to help drive new features, so our products remain competitive in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 2 years of professional software development experience

• Strong experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony or Laravel

• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and modern PHP best practices

• Familiarity with Doctrine or other ORM tools

• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (Next.js preferred)

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services

• Experience deploying to and managing workloads in AWS

• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows

• Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
