Job Summary (List Format): Product Coach / Agile Coach

Location: either Parsippany, NJ 07054 or Alpharetta, Georgia 30005 – 3 days onsite

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a product-centric and agile culture.
  • Guide teams in adopting product thinking, agile methodologies, and connecting OKRs to work items (UPS Golden Thread).
  • Mentor and train team members on product management best practices and lifecycles (ideation to launch, continuous improvement).
  • Coach teams in developing product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitate market research, user feedback collection, and define product features and priorities.
  • Provide clear KPIs and analyze product performance metrics for data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead workshops, coaching sessions, and develop training and supporting materials for enterprise product adoption.
  • Collaborate with UPS leadership to customize and implement the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) strategy.
  • Execute and pilot Agile Release Trains (ARTs), conduct PI Planning and execution, and expand ARTs and Solution Trains across portfolios.
  • Conduct executive-level workshops and design leadership training for top-down agile transformation.
  • Create roadmaps for transitioning portfolios to Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping workshops and guide leaders on value stream roles.
  • Design, implement, and communicate scaling programs using SAFe methodology.
  • Coach and mentor roles including Product Manager, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, and team members.
  • Mandatory: Experience with PI Planning, PI execution, Scaled Agile ceremonies, and strong coordination skills.
  • Desired: Local to Parsippany, NJ or Alpharetta, GA; available onsite 3 days/week; preferably from retail/ecommerce background.
