Job Title: AS400 Developer

Location: Qatar

Contract Duration: 6 Months Extendable

Rate Card: 20000 to 26000 QAR per month

Experience Range: 6 to 12 Years

Job Description:

A reputed organization in Qatar is looking for a skilled AS400 Developer with solid experience in IBM AS400 technologies, especially within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with RPGLE, CLLE, DB2400, and related tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree BE BTech or MCA in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• 6 to 12 years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to development in banking or financial services
• Proven development experience on IBM AS400 platform

Technical Skills Mandatory:

• Programming Languages RPGLE CLLE
• Database DB2400 SQL400
• Tools Query400 RLU SDA
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills on AS400 systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with core banking systems such as Finastra Equation is preferred
• Certifications or training in AS400 languages and tools
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
