Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our Network Infra team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing & maintaining the Network infrastructure in a Hybrid setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Implement & manage High-level enterprise network such as a 2-tier, 3-tier, fabric and cloud.
• Design WAN connectivity for on-premises, hybrid and cloud solutions.
• Design stable, secure and scalable routing designs with EIGRP/OSPF & BGP.
• Design campus networks for high availability ( FHRP)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts such as Layer-2 protocols, VLANs, STP, Routing concepts
• Solid understanding of Networking, Cisco Catalyst, Meraki products, Velocloud, .
• Design and Implement networks using Meraki MX security appliances, MS switches, and MR wireless access points.
• Design and Implement using VeloCloud SD-WAN Edge, Gateways and orchestrator.
• Troubleshoot routing protocols (EIGRP/OSPF or BGP )
• Troubleshoot route map for routing protocols (attributes, tagging, filtering)
• Troubleshoot loop prevention mechanisms (filtering, tagging, split-horizon, route poising)
• Setting up of Azure VPCs, routing between cloud & On-prem, VPNs, firewall rules, and other network configurations, as well as troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.
• Working with other IT teams (e.g., systems administrators, security specialists) and potentially external vendors to implement and maintain the network infrastructure.
• Configuring and managing Meraki wireless access points, including SSID settings, security policies, and guest access.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid understanding of network architecture for enterprises using Layer 2, Layer 3 and FHRP.
• Experience with large-scale global network environments conducting Internet facing e-Commerce -BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Multicast, LAN/WAN network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of network topologies.
• Proficiency in creating network diagrams using tools like MS-Visio.
• Ability to design and implement robust network security policies.
• Deep Understanding of L2 technologies-VLANs/VLAN tagging, VTP, Spanning Tree, EtherChannel, port-channel, Gigabit/10Gigabit switched networks.
• Deep Understanding of L3 technologies – VRF, Routing protocols (EIGRP/OSPF & BGP), VRRP, HSRP.
• Deep understanding of AWS VPCs, Azure Vnets and establishing secure and efficient connections between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Expertise in troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SolarWinds NPM, NCM, and NTA
• Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Certifications:
• CCNP: ENCOR,ENCC
• CCIE Enterprise or Cloud
• ITIL, Cloud Specific ( AWS Advanced Networking specialist, MS-Azure network engineer)
• Cisco Meraki Certifications: Relevant Meraki certifications (e.g., CMNO, CMNA).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
