Join ALTEN Switzerland as a Control Software Engineer and contribute to the development of advanced control applications in the energy industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop control software applications for industrial automation systems;
• Implement real-time control algorithms and signal processing solutions for embedded systems and closed-loop applications;
• Ensure software compliance with industry standards and maintain proper documentation and version control throughout development;
• Collaborate on R&D projects and provide technical support for system integration, testing and client deliverables.

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems or a related field;
• Solid experience in software development for closed-loop control, signal processing, real-time programming and/or embedded systems;
• Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 standards (e.g. CODESYS);
• Knowledge of software versioning tools (SVN, Git);
• Advanced proficiency in English; German is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of IEC 62443 standards and cybersecurity principles for industrial automation systems;
• Background in R&D environments, with the ability to innovate and work on pre-development topics.

Location: Greater Zurich Area (on-site with hybrid flexibility).
