Responsibilities

Join one of Australia’s leading consultancy firms and play a key role in delivering robust, secure, and high-performing network services for our clients. Based in Sydney, this position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects and collaborate with industry experts across multiple domains.

Network Operations & Support

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls, and proxy services
  • Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Maintain and upgrade network hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality
  • Support DMZ environments, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN configurations

Managed Services Integration

  • Collaborate with IT Service Management (ITSM) teams to align network operations with incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Participate in CMDB discovery activities and configuration audits
  • Assist with ServiceNow integrations for network-related modules and workflows

Security & Compliance

    • Implement Zero Trust Network Architecture and enforce secure configuration standards
    • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage patching cycles
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and client-specific compliance standards
Your Profile

  • 8–10 years of experience in network engineering and managed services. Strong expertise in Cisco platforms (ASR, ISR, Nexus), Azure networking, and SDN (Cisco ACI)
  • Certifications: CCNP/CCIE preferred; familiarity with CISSP or equivalent a plus
  • Primary Skill: Cisco ACI (Min 2-3 yrs exp)
  • Secondary skill: Cisco ASR/ISR, NX-OS Switches (Min 5-6 yrs)
  • Exceptional at multitasking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
